chilli paneer (chili cottage cheese)


ingrediants

  • 200 grams Paneer (Cottage cheese), cut it into medium-sized cubes
  • Oil 1 cup (for deep fry)
For marinate
(3 tablespoon Corn flour
3 teaspoon All purpose flour
½ soy sauce
1 teaspoon Salt
Water as required)
  • 2 Green chilies
  • 1 green capsicum,
  • 1 red or yellow capsicum
  • 2 Sirke Wala Pyaaz(pickeled onion)( you can take normal onion also) with vinegar       (https://abhijit707791.blogspot.com/2019/10/sirke-wala-pyaazpickeled-onion.html)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 inch ginger piece
  • ½ teaspoon Sugar
  • 3 teaspoon Soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Chili sauce
  • ½ teaspoon  pepper
  • Water as required
method

  1. In a bowl and add all-purpose flour,  2 tablespoons of cornflour ,soy sauce and salt. Add some water and mix them well to make a thick paste.add paneer cubes & keep it for 5 minutes.
  2. Now in a frying pan  heat oil and  fry (dip paneer pieces in the batter, coat them properly) the paneer  till they become golden brown in color. Keep it aside.
  3. Cut the  capsicum, onion, garlic, green chilies and ginger.
  4. Take 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and heat it . Add onion, garlic,green chilies red & green capsicum, stir well and cook them for 5 minutes.
  5. Then add sugar, pepper, soy sauces, vinegar, salt and 4 teaspoon water, stir well and cook on medium heat for 2 minute.
  6. Prepare cornflour paste. Add 2 tablespoon of cornflour,1 tspoon soy,1 tspoon chili & tomato sauce in half cup water
  7.  Then, add cornflour mixture to it and let the mixture boil  until you get the desired consistency.
  8. Add paneer pieces to the pan and stirring well for 3 minutes. Then, turn off the heat and serve hot with fried rice or roti.
