FRESH SMALL ROHU FISH WITH MUSTARD AND POPPY SEEDS

TODAY'S RECIPE

JYANTO CHARAPONAR SORSE POSTO(FRESH SMALL ROHU FISH WITH MUSTARD AND POPPY SEEDS

INGREDIENTS:

  • fresh small whole rohu fish :1
  • coconut paste:two t spoon
  • mustard & poppy seed paste:half cup
  • panch foron or kalanji or kalozira: half t spoon
  • green chili:2
  • turmeric powder:1 t spoon
  • mustard oil:half cup
  • salt to taste

METHOD:

wash the fish,marinate it by turmeric powder and salt.
take a kadai or deep pan,put oil ,heat it & deep fry it & keep aside.
in a same oil put kalanji, after cracking sound comes add all the paste & add 1 cup water
add little bit of turmeric powder and salt & cover the lid ,allow it  to cook for 3 to 4 mints
open the lid & add the fish & green chili & cook for two mints .serve it hot with rice.
